Steel is the most recycled packaging material in Europe and globally. Every tonne of recycled steel packaging saves the environment 1.28 tonnes of solid waste, 40% of water and 84% of the energy needed to produce new steel packaging.

The recycling of steel cans also reduces air emissions by 86% and water pollution by 76%.
